Alone in the Green Room: An Introduction

What’s up NBA-nerds! So, the chances are that if you are reading this, you are pretty interested in basketball. What else could explain you reading a blog run by 3 students from the generic site  (we love you WordPress.com) entitled Alone in the Green Room. We are in this for ourselves (first fun, then money!) just as much as for you guys.

We don’t really have a definition of who we are: we will cover everything from our love of the NBA to our memories of following it (via video games or real NBA games), to our thoughts on how to play the game correctly (often times through a statistical-analytical lens). Honestly, nothing shy of an x-rated Stan Van Gundy video link is off-limits. While we might go into the most excruciatingly detail about a high school game in which we dropped 20 points (well, only I, Jesse AKA toughjuicepech0, am in high school at this point…) or outline the genius behind Bill Walton’s announcing skills (or lack thereof), ultimately, it is just because we care.

So do read; we promise to make it entertaining and to keep you in on the more under-appreciated aspects of basketball (Mark Jackson-Jeff Van Gundy broadcasting interactions, anyone?). Mama, There Goes That Man!
